Please come out to support your Whippet golfers at their only home event this season! If you aren't sure about spectating at a golf meet, we invite you to hang out in the practice green area to the east of the clubhouse. Several Whippet golfers will be visible from that spot. The girls will likely be on the course until mid-afternoon. 💜🐾⛳️

We will be lining the entire high school parking lot on Friday, September 20, and Saturday, September 21. We need all cars moved from that area by Thursday night. If your vehicle is not moved, it will be towed at the owner's expense.

Nurse Julie was presented the American Heart Association National School Nurse of the Year award on September 10th!
PT Conferences will be on Wednesday, September 18 (3:00-6:00) and Thursday, September 19 (3:00-6:30). Thursday is a time change from the calendar. We will have an early release of 1:00/1:10 on those two days, and there will be no school on Friday, September 20.

Minden students are in their safety era! The FFA members had a wonderful time interacting with the 4th-6th graders and teaching them about safety!
ATTENTION!! All spectators attending home games and contests at Minden High School must enter through the south main MHS entrance. The north entrance will no longer be open for admission for general spectators. If you are attending home games at MHS, please plan to park on the south in our newly expanded parking lot or in other designated areas. The north parking lot and entrance is now reserved for MPS staff only for events. This change is effective immediately and will be in place for all events moving forward. GO WHIPPETS!!!
If you haven't been in the MHS library lately (or ever), stop in and check out some of our new high interest titles or write a book review to put on the recommended books window! There's something here for everyone and you just might leave with a treat!
ATTENTION: 7th VB Thursday will be in the Activity gym starting at 4 pm. You can enter at the front of the middle school or the south activity gym door on the playground. We are planning to play A-B-C levels that day. Go Whippets!
