Sub District Girls Basketball host sites and pairings have been announced. Our girls basketball team travels to Malcolm High School on Tuesday February 17th to play Holdrege in the first round. Tip is set for 7:30pm.

HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL UPDATE:
Due to a several recent injuries to players on our girls basketball team, the number of players available for JV level games is limited. Because of this the JV girls games both today (Feb. 10th) and on Thursday (Feb. 12th) will be 2 quarters instead of a full game. Both of these girls JV games will be played in the middle school gym. The boys JV games will be full games and will be played in the high school gym. Start times for JV remain unchanged and will start at 4:30pm.
Additionally, the JV girls will NOT play in the Wood River tournament on Saturday February 14th. The boys JV will participate in this tournament as planned.

The high school quizbowl team placed second today at the Franklin meet. They went 4-1 in their pool play!
Frank and Danica did a great job representing Minden FBLA at the Loper Business Invitational today! Frank placed in all three of his competitions:
Personal Finance - 5th Place
Economics - 5th Place
Business Communication - 5th Place
Congratulations to these students for being selected for Class B All State Band in March! They recorded and submitted auditions in order to be considered for this event.
