CLJMS hosted elementary & middle school quiz bowls today at the Minden Opera House. All of the teams competed very well in close matches. 6th grade - 3rd place 7th grade - 4th place 8th grade - 2nd place We appreciate all the volunteers that helped to make it successful!

Lady Whippets fall to the Dusters in the Sub District tonight to end their season. It was a tough shooting night but the effort was fantastic. These seniors had a remarkable basketball career with 2 state tournament births and a 3rd place finish in 2025. They always played with great energy and have high character. Win or lose, this is always a program Whippet Nation can be proud of!

Victoria Hansen gets her first career win at the state tournament today in Omaha. She went 1-1 on the day. Marlie Peterson went 0-1 on the day. Both girls will wrestle on Wednesday!

Boys basketball sub districts released! Our boys will be in the C1-8 Sub District tournament as the #3 seed at Gothenburg High School. We will play Doniphan Trumbull on Tuesday February 24th at 7:30pm. GO WHIPPETS!!

National Honor Society celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Day this morning by recognizing some middle and high school students who were seen last week by teachers and staff doing random acts of kindness at school. NHS is promoting "Make kindness the norm at Minden Public Schools". One simple act can cause a positive ripple to make our schools, community, and world a better place. Thank you to all the students who show kindness and inclusion everyday!

The FFA Chapter is excited to host their annual Ag Appreciation Breakfast again this year! They invite anyone in the ag community to join them for a hearty breakfast and fellowship on Feb. 27 from 6:30-8:00am at The Windmill (NEW LOCATION). ☕️🍳🥞

Sub District Girls Basketball host sites and pairings have been announced. Our girls basketball team travels to Malcolm High School on Tuesday February 17th to play Holdrege in the first round. Tip is set for 7:30pm.
