Several parents have inquired about the dates for our high school football camp so that they can plan their summer vacations. The camp will run Tuesday, May 26 through Friday, May 29 from 8 to 10:30 AM. Youth camp information will be coming soon.

Last Friday at our Whippet Pack assembly the middle school students had the chance to hear from members of the girls and boys high school basketball team. They spoke about their season and what it takes to be a member of the team throughout the year. They even showed the middle school students how it's done in knockout! We appreciate them taking the time to speak to our students!

Class B All State Band was in Grand Island today! 5 Minden students auditioned and were selected for the event. Abby and Rebbeca were a part of the jazz band. Jon and Bailey were part of the wind ensemble which performed the premiere of a brand new piece of music written for the group. Frank Kovacs was also selected for the event but was unable to attend due to state speech. Good luck today Frank!

Minden FFA had an amazing three days at the Nebraska State FFA Convention. Here are some of the key take away from the convention. ⭐️Three Star Premier Chapter 3️⃣3rd Place Model of Excellence in Strengthening Agriculture 🔵 Two Nebraska State FFA Degrees- Alyssa Johnson and Arabella Reed 🗣️ Ag Communications Team 3rd place 🪴 Nursery Landscape Team 8th place 🏅 Sydney Jenkins- 5th place gold in Senior Public Speaking 🏅 Isabelle Martin- 6th individually in Nursery Landscape 🏅Arabella Reed- 5th individually in Ag Communications 🏅Lizzy Nielsen- 8th individually in Ag Communications 🥇 Natural Resources, Floriculture, and Nursery Landscape were all 1st in the team portion of their contests

The 8th grade class was lucky enough to take a field trip to Lincoln today where we visited our Nebraska State Capitol and the Nebraska State Museum. We all had a great time!

The 2026 Marsh Beck Invitational is off and running! Come on out and watch and enjoy some competition and a great day!!

Today is National Ag Day. To celebrate students at the high school drove their tractors to school. There were tractors of all sizes, ages, and brands represented. This year we had 9 students parade their tractors to school. Thank you LandMark for letting us start our parade at your Minden location! If you see a farmer today remember to tell them THANK YOU!

SWC Basketball Team Selections 🏀🐾
For the boys, Traelin Christensen was selected for the 3rd team, and on the girls' side, Myla Emery was selected for 1st team. Additionally, Myla and Kaylynn Jorgensen were selected to the SWC Senior All Star Team!

REMINDER!! The high school (9-12) students ONLY will be dismissed on Tuesday March 24th at 1:10pm due to the home track and field invitational. Grades k-8 will have a normal release school day.
