Minden Public Schools

Exciting things are happening as we are getting closer to building a greenhouse!Through grant money and the generous donations of our community members, we have raised $120,000. We are so grateful to those who have gotten us this far, but we are still short on funds. Construction on this project will not begin until we raise the final amount of money. We are in need of $20,000 to achieve our goal. If you are interested or know of someone/business that would like to donate please contact Macie Oertle or the Minden Public Schools Foundation.

7th/8th GBB: Due to low numbers for Doniphan Trumbull, next Monday, Nov. 24th our 7th grade will play DT in the CLJ gym at 4:30 pm. Our 8th grade GBB team will not play. We will play an A game followed by 2 quarters of a B game. Go Whippets!

There will be a meeting for parents of girls in 3rd - 8th grades who are interested in playing club volleyball on Tuesday, December 2nd at 7:00 p.m. in the high school commons area. Please contact Coach Ratka at julie.ratka@mindenwhippets.org if you are unable to attend or have questions.

2025-2026 yearbooks are still for sale on the school website side bar or with Ms. Dierks for $35. Sales will end on Dec. 1st.

A reminder that tonight are the parent meetings for all of those going out for high school girls and boys basketball as well as high school girls and boys wrestling. All parents of those going out for these sports needs to attend. The meeting locations are below:

We wrapped up the football season tonight with our banquet. It was great to get this group together one last time with some good food and family members. It's always tough to see the seniors go but also excited about the future with the young talent we have coming back.
