
The MHS Band had a great day at Harvest of Harmony! They received 3rd place in the Class B parade competition and a Division 2: Excellent for their field show! This is the 3rd year in a row the MHS Band has been in the top 3 for parade in Class B.
They battled some windy and hot conditions but did a fantastic job performing and representing Minden!


It was a tough night for the Minden football team as we fell to a good Milford squad. The Whippet varsity team is back in action next Friday against Broken Bow for Homecomig 2025!!





National Honor Society wants to send out a HUGE thank you to the MHS student body for their donations to the Little Free Pantry this week. They donated a total of 1278 items!


The Class B District Softball brackets are now out! Hwy 6 will travel to Smith Complex in Hastings for the opening round game against York on Thursday October 9th at 11:00am. The full bracket for the B-6 district softball is attached! Good luck Trailblazers!!

The high school quiz bowl team did a great job at the Holdrege meet today! They worked their way to second place before the two head-to-head matches. They ended the day with a 4-2 match record and a second-place win!



Addisyn Norris broke the record for home runs in a season!


Junior high & elementary quiz bowl teams competed in Holdrege yesterday. Both teams competed well at the first quiz bowl of the year. The sixth grade team earned a 4th place finish out of ten teams! They were just out of medal range.

The students in plant science and agribusiness had a full day of plant production tours. They started their morning off at Apple Acres Orchard in Kearney where they learned about Apple production. They then headed to Bayer where they got to see seed corn production. The last stop was in Overton at Creek's Bend Family Farm where they grow cut flowers and implementing state of the art technology to do so.
