Minden High School FCCLA will be hosting their annual Veteran’s Breakfast on Tuesday, November 11th from 7:30 to 8:30. All veterans and their guests are welcome and encouraged to attend breakfast in the high school commons.

Today didn't go as planned, but I am so proud of these girls and this season. They left it all out on the court today. Just came up a bit short against a really good AC team today. So grateful for all of them and their commitment and hard work. We are especially thankful for our senior leadership. They have left quite a legacy - a record of 132-15, 2 state championships, and a 3rd place finish. Thank you to our assistant coaches for all of their investment into our kids and program. And Minden fans, thanks for your support throughout the season. It is still a great day to be a Whippet!! 💜🏐💜

Important Updates for the District Volleyball Final on Saturday!
-1:00 PM start time
-12:00 PM: Doors open to the public for entry
-MHS Student Section: will move to the HOME side of the bleachers on the far EAST end (behind the home team bench)
-The student section is marked so Minden fans please do not sit in the far EAST section of the home bleacher.
-Concessions will be provided by the MHS Booster Club: candy, popcorn, and drink only
-Black Out is the Theme!!

-MHS Pep Band will play!!

Congratulations to the Minden FFA Chapter for being named a National 2 star chapter at the National FFA Convention!

Volleyball District FInal @ Minden High School!!
The volleyball team will host Adams Central for the C1-8 District Final on Saturday November 1st at 1:00 PM! The winner of this matchup will earn a trip to the State Tournament! Teammates is sponsoring admission for all Minden Public School students who attend (students in K-6 need to be accompanied by a paid adult). Students need to check in at the front ticket table upon arrival.

Congratulations to KayLynn and Macy Jorgensen on being named to the 2025 Nebraska Coaches Association Girls Golf Super State Team. Only 17 girls in the whole state were selected for this honor. We are very proud of these girls for their unbelievable performances this season.

The FFA alumni is hosting a murder mystery dinner to raise money for scholarship money for FFA members. Be sure to get your tickets and help solve the mystery of who murdered Scrooge!

We are in need of someone who is interested in doing the announcing for our home wrestling meets this season. Announcing generally involves reading a script to start the dual or tournament and then introducing wrestlers as they come to the mat to wrestle. it is a fun way to be close to the action! If this is something you may be interested in, please call the Minden High School Office at 308-832-2254 and ask for Mr. Strong.

The MHS band had a fantastic final performance at the NSBA State Marching Contest today! They earned a Division 2: Excellent rating. Great job this year band, it was fantastic to watch this show improve every week!
