I wanted to share some exciting news about our upcoming Candy Cane Grams fundraiser taking place at CLJMS. Starting every Tuesday through Thursday in December, students can purchase Candy Cane Grams for just $1 each.
We will be sending home sheets with our middle school students, but if you do not have a middle school student and would like a sheet, please feel free to pick one up in the office or email Erica at erica.jensen@mindenwhippets.org for a digital copy.
Students are encouraged to buy these sweet treats for their family and friends. When placing orders, please remember to indicate the homeroom teacher and/or room number for delivery.

It's Game Day!
Each year our 8th graders participate in the Patriot's Pen Essay competition. We have five students who received awards for their essays. Congratulations: 1st place- Hallie Hartman, 2nd - Josa Ciemnoczolowski, 3rd - Tynlie Struss , 4th - Tirzo Borrego, 5th - Grayson Heggemeyer!

Reminder of the updated game schedule for basketball at Southern Valley on Thursday December 5th.
Game Time: 4:00 pm - JV Girls (regular game)
Approx 5:15 pm - JV Boys (3 quarters) (15 minute warm-up after JV Girls)
Approx 6:15 pm - Varsity Girls with Varsity Boys to follow
Students in animal science finished their unit on livestock nutrition by getting in the holiday spirit today. Students made reindeer feed using the Pearson square. Afterwards, they watched a Dirty Jobs on Reindeer Farming!
