It's almost Mickey's birthday. We can always count on Mrs. Woodward being his biggest fan and celebrating with all of us!
East Elementary students attended the Veterans Day program on Friday. The speaker, Mrs. Schmidt's uncle, made a special visit to first graders after the program. ❤️🤍💙

East can't wait to see the state champion volleyball team Tuesday morning!
Any little whippet attending the state volleyball tournament on Friday is invited to wear a Halloween costume along with the rowdy crowd. On Saturday, the school spirit theme is purple out so attend wearing all your purple.
The Minden Rotary gifted each third grader a brand new dictionary. 📖
Here's to a second grader rocking his tricky sight words! He's doing so awesome he got to give a surprise update to his first grade teacher on his continued success.
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places that you'll go."-Dr. Seuss
These third graders and their reading is worth celebrating!

Mrs. Boudreau is proud of Charlotte Jensen for being kind and a hard worker in the classroom. Because of how hard she works, she is a learning machine! She is so deserving of a positive principal referral.
Mrs. Rowley is proud of Carter Segelke. Not only does he participate with a great attitude, but he is such a kind and helpful friend to others. Those are great reasons for a positive principal referral!
Mrs. Steen shares that Raylene Neumeister always has a smile on her face. She is willing to do whatever is asked and does it with a great attitude. No wonder why she earned a positive principal referral!
Jakub Space is very respectful to his peers. He always asks for help when he needs it and has been working really hard in class. Mrs. Harsin is proud of Jakub, and he earned a positive principal referral.
Mrs. Jameson referred Kayden Alloway for a positive principal referral. Kayden is very kind, hard working, and polite. If a fellow classmate is struggling, Kayden is the first one to notice and offer help. Congratulations, Kayden!
Reese Carey is described by Mrs. Miller as a sweet, smart, and loving girl. She is kind to her friends and always makes sure everyone has someone to play with. A positive principal referral is just the ticket for a student like Reese.
