We are so excited to welcome our incoming kindergarten students and their families to East Elementary. Join us for a fun and informative morning where parents can complete registration, meet our teachers, and learn more about kindergarten while our future students enjoy an activity and explore the school. We can’t wait to meet you and begin this exciting journey together!
Credit/Debit Card Payments Now Accepted at MHS/CLJ Home Events!!
We are excited to announce that we are now able to accept credit/debit card payments for ADMISSION AND CONCESSIONS at MPS home events! We are able to accept both card payments as well as apple pay. We are starting this service on Thursday January 15th for the home junior high boys basketball games and we will offer this option for Friday home wrestling and Saturday home basketball as well. We then will continue to offer this option at most home events moving forward. We know this will be a great convenience for those who prefer to use a card over cash.

1. There is a processing fee that the customer will pay per transaction.
2. We WILL continue to take cash as we have always done.

The Minden Schools Foundation surprised Mrs. Olson and our kindergarten team, Mrs. Boudreau, Mrs. Woldt, and Mrs. Miller, with classroom grants. The grants will be used to purchase a new dramatic play center for kindergarten students and sensory tables for our school library. We are thankful for the Minden Schools Foundation and everyone who supports their cause!
Members of the high school FFA donated a book barn to our East library along with thirty agriculture books. They also delivered coloring books donated by the Kearney and Franklin County corn board. Thank you to Mrs. Oertle and the FFA members!
