Due to renovation progress we are able
to use the front doors today for drop off and dismissal. Feel free to drop off and pickup in front of the CLJ as normal.

Due to construction there will be no middle school open house at the C. L. Jones middle school. We look forward to seeing students on Tuesday, August 13.
CL Jones Middle School Open House Information!
Changes to the MS Open House on August 8, 2024-Please attend during the following grade-specific times: 4th/ 5th grades- 6:00-6:30pm, 6th grade- 6:30-7:00, 7/8th grades 7:00-7:30
Due to construction at the middle school, we request that all visitors enter through the East doors (on Park Street). Student schedules will be given at this time; much of the building remains under renovation and will not be accessible during the open house.

Middle School Student Council Fundraiser
All shirts are $15 and proceeds go to CLJMS middle school student council. Sales are open to all members of the public, not just middle school students.
All orders are due by August 23rd at noon.

The summer lunch program is officially done for the summer. Thanks to everyone who participated. This program is good for the school and our community. The start of school will be Tuesday, August 13th. Have a great rest of the summer.
Reminder: We still have summer lunch going for part of July. Stop by East Elementary on Tuesday, July 16th from 11:30-1:00.

Old Whippet Trophies! We have some older trophies here at Minden High School that we are offering to anyone who might have been on the teams or who might have a connection in any way. If you would like to claim one of these trophies, come to MHS any time between 10am and 2pm Monday through Thursday from now until June 27th. The trophies are located on the tables along the Wall of Champions in the commons. Most of them are from the 1950s-1970s.
Summer Breakfast/Lunch will begin on Tuesday, May 28th, at East Elementary, from 11:30 to 12:45. As long as supplies are available, the prepackaged meals will be handed out in the circle driveway on Tuesdays for the next eight weeks. .
Reminder about the change to the calendar: We will dismiss students for summer vacation at noon on Thursday, May 16th. We want to thank parents and the community for supporting our students, staff, and administration this year. Have a great summer.
