Tonight our community approved the Elementary Construction Project. Thanks to everyone who sought facts and voted, strengthening our district. This support, will help us put our students and staff into a safer, more accessible space. Thank you for supporting MPS.

Circle of Friends T-Shirt Fundraiser!
Middle School Sports this week:
Monday 7th-8th VB vs. Broken Bow @home starting at 5 pm. 7th in the Activity gym , will play 2 matches and 8th in the CLJ will play 3 matches. CLJ Foyer is the only entrance for these two events. 7-8th FB vs. Broken Bow Tuesday in Broken Bow will start at 5 pm with the 7th grade game followed by the 8th grade game.

We are excited to announce our Circle of Friends T-Shirt Fundraiser! This is a wonderful opportunity for students, families, and community members to show their support while helping us raise funds for a great cause.
All proceeds will go directly toward:
Hosting fun and inclusive events and activities for our students
Purchasing materials and supplies to support social and friendship-building programs
Creating meaningful opportunities for inclusion throughout the school year
By purchasing a t-shirt, you are not only helping to fund this program but also spreading awareness about the importance of friendship, kindness, and inclusion.

The meet at McCook has been cancelled (scheduled for Thursday 9/18) due to the storms they experienced last night. Our middle school and high school cross country teams will now go to the Fillmore Central meet at Hidden Hills Country Club in Geneva tomorrow. This meet starts at 4:15pm.

The kitchen staff is excited for the 25/26 school year. This year we would like to get the Beef for Schools program up and running again. Our goal is to feed our students with local nutritious foods and we need your help.
Thanks to generous donations in the past we have an account to help fund our first few processed beef. We are looking to our community for anyone who would like to donate a cow or TWO!! Keep your eyes open because the cafeteria staff are teaming up with our FFA Students!
We would also love any extra home grown produce you would like to donate to the school lunch program! Corn on the Cobb, pumpkin. squash etc. We loving having fresh and local food in our cafeteria's!
The CLJMS fall book fair is in full swing this week! Be sure to stop in after school or during P/T conferences to find a new read for your student. Books in the home reinforce a positive reading culture and lifelong learning!
It's time for another amazing book fair at CLJMS! Come shop in person September 15-18th, after school and during P/T conferences. Shop online until Sep. 19th. Your support helps get books to our students and supplies the library and classrooms with books and other learning materials. Hope to see you here!
7th-8th FB vs. Gothenburg: Next Tuesday, Sept. 16 we will play Gothenburg in football. The 7th grade will play at 5 pm followed by the 8th grade game. Go Whippets
The start time for the home football game tonight vs Adams Central has been moved up and the game will now start at 6:30pm. This is due to the potential of rain and thunderstorms in the area later this evening.
