The Minden Volleyball Team won the Nebraska Top 10 Team Camp for the 2nd straight year with a set record of 22-4. This camp brings some of Nebraska's best volleyball teams together for 2 days of intense competition. While it is obviously physically fatiguing, it is just as much mentally challenging. We were very proud of their resilience and belief in each other throughout the tournament. Whippet Nation, we can't wait to see you at our home invite on August 31st. Go Whippets!! 💜🏐💜
Hooray, hooray one week from today is our kindergarten jumpstart(optional)! Jumpstart begins on August 5th at 8 with drop off being at the front doors of East Elementary. Parents can pick up their child at 11 at the front doors at the conclusion of jumpstart. This is for kindergarten students only on August 5th and 6th.
Reminder: Open house for East Elementary is August 8th from 5:00-6:30. A Card My Yard photo opportunity will be on the front lawn. The first day of school is August 13th.

Middle School Student Council Fundraiser
All shirts are $15 and proceeds go to CLJMS middle school student council. Sales are open to all members of the public, not just middle school students.

Congratulations to the 2023 Minden Whippet Volleyball Team on earning the AVCA Team Academic Award. Varsity team members must maintain a year-long GPA of 3.3 or higher. We are so proud of our student athletes on their outstanding work on the court but more importantly in the classroom!! Go Whippets!! 💜🏐💜
The summer lunch program is officially done for the summer. Thanks to everyone who participated. This program is good for the school and our community. The start of school will be Tuesday, August 13th. Have a great rest of the summer.

MHS Dance Fundraiser!!!
There is still room to sign up for this fundraiser supporting Minden girls wrestling! Bring together some friends and have a blast playing slowpitch softball! Please register by July 19.
These 5 FBLA members competed at the National Leadership Conference the past four days in Orlando, FL! Although we didn’t bring home any awards, we were able to network with many of FBLAs strongest leaders and gain skills that will help our chapter succeed this upcoming year!
