Our annual costume parade is on 10/31/2023 at 7:55 a.m. in the CLJ gym for 4th & 5th grade students. Please have students in their costumes and ready for the parade by 7:50 a.m. on 10/31. This is an optional, fun activity. The 6-8th grade students will watch the parade.
Minden Girls Wrestling will be hosting a FREE beginners camp for girls on November 6th at 5:30. Bring a friend and come see if wrestling is for you!
We will have our football banquet Monday November 6 at 7 PM in the high school commons. Freshman and juniors. Please bring a main dish, sophomores a side dish and seniors a dessert. See you there.

Shout out to a couple of volleyball girls for achievements this week. Makenna Betty was listed as the 4th best block in the state according to Hudl and Myla Emery earned her 1000th assist on Tuesday against KC. Congrats to both girls!!

VOLLEYBALL DISTRICT FINAL OFFICIAL UPDATE:
The C1-2 District Final will start at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Minden will play Columbus Scotus for a trip to the big dance in Lincoln! Teammates has generously offered to cover admission for all Minden Public School Students to this game. Just have the students check in at the Teammates Table at the downstairs front entrance of the high school. We do ask that all students in grades K-6 be accompanied by an adult. The game will be streamed on the Whippet Nation Youtube channel as well as the following radio broadcasts: KLIR 101 will broadcast the Minden vs Scotus game ( www.mycentralnebraska.com).

Also, Minden High School is hosting the C1-6 Volleyball District Final at 3:30 PM between Ogallala and Pierce. In order to respect their game, we would ask that Minden fans leave to provide room for the Ogallala and Pierce fans and students at the conclusion of our game and awards ceremony. Once all of the spectators from the other two schools have entered, those of you who want to watch the second game may re-enter and sit where there is room.

Just a reminder state shirt orders are due tonight (Wednesday, October 25th) by 11:59 p.m. We will be playing on Saturday. Opponent and time will be official tomorrow morning sometime.
Unfortunately, due to the timing of the sub-state game on Saturday, October 28th and state volleyball beginning on Wednesday, November 1st, orders for state t-shirts will be have to placed before we even know if we made it to state. Orders are due Wednesday, October 25th, at 11:59 p.m. I really don't like doing it this way, but due to logistics it is a must. If we were to lose the sub-state game, BSN will refund all money. We are so thankful for all of the support shown to our team throughout this season.
