Minden will be hosting the District Music Contest on April 25, 2025 with 11 schools bringing groups to perform in Minden that day! This is a HUGE undertaking for the music department and we need help from anyone who is willing to donate food items. Parents/guardians of music students we need your help the most, but if you are a community member or just want to donate, please consider signing up.

Similarly, Mrs. Rowley organized a music bracket where different categories of music went head to head. Do woodwinds win out over brass? Does percussion "beat" them all? Today we know more than ever before about the importance of children’s earliest years in shaping their learning and development. Yet, never before have the needs of young children and their families been more pressing.
Mayor Evans visited Minden Public Preschool and signed a proclamation recognizing the importance of early childhood education.
