We hope to see a HUGE turnout of Whippet faithful for the Girls Basketball Semi Final game on Friday morning at 10:45am at Pinnacle Bank Arena!! Our girls will face a very talented Milford team. We are the home team and thus the home side is considered the north and east sections. Below and attached, you will find some additional information for those making the trip to PBA Friday morning! Speech Performance Night has been rescheduled for 3/6/25!
Whippets defeat SCOTUS 42-37 and advance to the semi finals of state!!! We will play Friday morning at 10:45am at PBA against the winner of Milford/Arlington. Great win ladies!!!!!

The Minden Schools Foundation awarded a grant to our very own Mrs. Rowley in order for her to have new instruments to develop our young musicians. Thank you Minden Schools Foundation and congratulations to Mrs. Rowley!
We are very proud of our February Whippets of the Month! These students were chosen by their teachers! Go Whippets!
East Elementary students will dismiss at 1:50 today and no afternoon preschool. The middle and high school will dismiss at 2:00.
We will have a 2:00 dismissal today, March 4th, due to extremely high winds and eventually snow in the later afternoon. Please be safe; wind gusts have the potential to increase to 60+ mph, and an inch of snow could cause blizzard-like conditions.
The Hs Quizbowl team went to Red Cloud tonight and earned second place! The Red Cloud meet is a fun atmosphere recognizing academic participants. Thank you to the parents who came to support the team!
Girls state bball sendoff information:
The bus will leave the high school at 10 am on Tuesday, travel past the front of CLJ, and stop briefly at East. The bus will then pass by the fairgrounds on the way out of town for a community sendoff! Please join us if you can!
If you purchased state bball apparel and have not received it yet, it will be available to pick up in the high school office tomorrow morning.
East teachers can pick theirs up at the East office!
