Runza night is April 5th. Proceeds will go to help support our summer lunch program.

Six students competed at Harvard Math Day in Harvard, NE today. It consisted of a written test, fast math competition, and a math bowl competition. On the written test, Kevin Aranda placed 5th overall and Ashtian Nielson placed 10th by beating out Mason Taylor on the tie breaker. Both math bowl teams competed very well with the team of Bailey Rogers, Ashtian Nielson, and Cade Harsin in a tie for 6th place and the team of Olivia Sheldon, Kevin Aranda, and Mason Taylor finishing 2nd place. It was a great experience for all of them.

These students did a great job at the Doane Underclassman Honor Band today!

The freshmen will be attending at Career Fair in Holdrege on March 30. They will leave at 8:00 am and return early afternoon. They will need to either bring a lunch or bring money for lunch as we will stop in Holdrege before returning to school for the afternoon.
Not everyone is sleeping at 6 am. These Whippets are up three mornings a week learning and improving their athleticism!

There will be no school today. Road conditions are worse and visibility is poor. If you need to travel give yourself additional time and space, especially going east. Be safe and have a great day.

Due to poor visibility and poor road conditions we will be having a late start. No Morning PreSchool, Afternoon PreSchool will start at regular time, and buses will run accordingly. Please stay tuned, if conditions worsen we will be making a call on school very soon.

Reminder that the girls basketball potluck will be Tuesday, March 22 at 6:30 pm in the high school commons. Please bring your own plates and silverware. Drinks will be provided.
We hosted our annual quiz bowl competition today and two of our three teams met in the finals and finished Champs and runner up! Congratulations!

Congratulations to Dayanara Guido for receiving the art medal at the Southwest Conference Arts Festival. There is only one student from each school that is awarded a medal. The winning piece of art is chosen by the other art educators.
