Southwest Conference Tournament Admission Reminder! ONLY SWC PASSES ACCEPTED
Now that we are approaching SWC tournaments, we want to remind everyone that Minden Activity Passes CANNOT be accepted for SWC tournaments or competitions. ONLY Southwest Conference Passes are accepted. This includes all SWC tournament basketball games this week, the girls wrestling SWC meet here on Saturday 1/31, and the boys SWC wrestling tournament at Holdrege on Feb. 6th.

Minden FBLA will be selling Valentine's Day Cookies this week before school and during lunch in the high school commons area! The deadline to buy is Friday, January 30th. All proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
Some members of the MHS band and choir (along with some parents) attended a performance at the Omaha Symphony today! The symphony played the live soundtrack to How to Train Your Dragon as the movie played on the big screen.

Jaelyn, Sawyer, and Hailey spent the day at the Kearney Underclassmen Honor Band! Select 9th/10th grade students from across the state rehearse music all day to prepare for a concert to end the event. All 3 MHS band members were in the Wind Ensemble under the direction of Robert Cody from Concordia University.
The 2026 Southwest Conference Basketball Tournament bracket has been released. The first round games will be played on Tuesday January 27th with the girls at home vs. Broken Bow and the boys at McCook. Both first round games start at 6:00pm. Consolations games will be played on Thursday the 29th at home sites, the semi finals games are scheduled for Friday the 30th at North Platte CC, and the the finals are on Saturday the 31st at North Platte CC.
