Last night Mr. Wheelock was spending time streaming the 2/3 musical, and tonight he's preparing his team for state track. Thankful for the staff of Minden Public Schools who wear multiple hats to make endless experiences for kids and families happen. Go Whippets!

Band instrument testing happened last week for those that requested it and students should be bringing home sheets today that says their placement. If we did not get testing done for your student we will finish that in the Fall when we start the new school year!
Beginning Band parent meeting and instrument rental night is Monday, August 21, 2023 at 6:30PM in the HS Band room.
A BIG THANK YOU to Joe Lee for all of his hard work welding the aluminum hanging brackets for our district plaque display project. Joe is a junior at MHS and he has developed a talent for working with aluminum. Joe has spent many hours fabricating the brackets and he has done a fantastic job. Just another example of the talented students we have at MHS!

Whippet District Golf Tee Times
Boys District Golf at York originally scheduled for Monday 15th has been moved to Tuesday 16th due to the weather forecast. The start time and all other details remain the same, but the tournament will now take place on Tuesday May 16th.

Congratulations to our 2023 MHS graduates!
Demonstration speeches are so much fun! We had a guinea pig, a lamb, several dogs, a horse, and a goose in class. We learned how to bowl, kick a field goal, play soccer, drive a manual car, change a tire, paint our nails, make all sorts of snacks, and so much more. If you need some excitement in your life, visit the speech class!
