The BEST addition to our list of adults discussing the importance of communication with our Linguistics 8 students: Mrs. Nicole Miller.
Nicole works as a virtual assistant for Oak Social, she writes as a blogger, and she is a stay-at-home mom. She encouraged students to focus on face-to-face communication, building trust with others, writing to find joy, and teaching children how to communicate by setting an example. These students couldn't get enough time with their former teacher! Thanks, Mrs. Miller!

A HUGE THANK YOU to the Minden Booster club for their contribution to purchase the fully automated timing system for our track program and school! The support the Booster Club has given our activities is appreciated beyond measure. The Courier will run a story about the system!

These 8th grade band members spent the day at the Kearney Middle School Honor Band. They were able to learn music and play in a concert with other Middle School students from Kearney, Grand Island, Hastings, Lexington, and Ravenna.
Congrats to the HS girls basketball team on finishing as the regular season Southwest Conference Champions! Another gold to add to the SWC board! Job well done!!!
The girls wrestling banquet will be Tuesday, March 7th in the high school commons at 6:30 pm.

Junior Parents/Guardians: Information was mailed a few weeks ago regarding State ACT Testing for all juniors on March 21. The form included in the mailing (image attached) needs to be signed and returned by this Wednesday, March 1. Contact the couseling office with questions.
This Friday, the FFA Chapter will be hosting a public performance to showcase the students competing at State FFA at the end of the month. There will be a dinner followed by 5 performances. For admission, we ask that people bring items to donate to the little free pantry.
