It was a great day for the Minden H.S. Quiz Bowl teams at Gothenburg! The A team was perfect at the tournament, winning all their matches for a 4-0 record. Holdrege also finished the day unbeaten, but unfortunately the two teams never met head-to-head. The tie-breaker was "most points scored," and Holdrege edged out Minden to claim the championship. Minden was undefeated, but finished as the Runner-Up.
The Minden B team was IMPRESSIVE today at the Gothenburg Quiz Bowl, going undefeated for the day and earning 1st place in the JV division.
Congratulations to the Whippet Speech Team on a great day at the Southwest Conference Speech Meet! The team finished as the SWC Runner Up!! Individual champions included Nathan Althouse (Entertainment), Sam Cederburg (Extemporaneous), and Nathan Althouse/Sophia Cederberg/Addison Klabunde/Dawson Conyers/Elizabeth Hunt (OID). GREAT JOB WHIPPET SPEECH TEAM!!!

The Girls' basketball team will play Bridgeport on Thursday, February 29th, at 10:45 in Lincoln. Due to the high number of students and staff attending this game, we will not have school on Thursday. If we win, we will not have school on Friday. If we lose, we will have school.

DISTRICT RUNNER UP!!!What a way to end the season for the Whippet Boys Basketball team! They made it to the District Final or Sweet 16 of the season!!! We lost to a really talented Ashland Greenwood today 59-39 but we can be proud of the players and coaches for this season!! Thanks for all of the support the community showed our boys this season!!!

CLJMS hosted an elementary and middle school quiz bowl this week at the Minden Opera House. A Minden team placed in the top 3 for both! Many volunteers & donations made this a fun and successful event.
The Boys Basketball District Final will be played (tomorrow) Saturday 24th at Ashland Greenwood High School in Ashland. The game will start at 4:00 PM. The boys will battle a talented Ashland Greenwood team for a trip to the state tournament!!

The Whippet Boys Basketball team defeated Kearney Catholic 60-50 to advance to a District Final on Saturday 24th!!! We know we will be on the road somewhere but the opponent and time is still TBD. GREAT GAME!!!!
