The MHS Circle of Friends group is selling Whippet Kind shirts. We will be celebrating Whippet Kind Wednesday on Wednesday, May 1st. T-shirts are $14 and checks can made payable to Minden Public Schools. Orders forms can be returned to Mr. Horner, Ms. Mousel, Mrs. Ratka, or Mrs. Turecek at the high school and are due by April 15th. The MHS Art Club had a great time on their trip to the Henry Doorly Zoo! 🐒🐙🦒
The MHS Band performed at the NSBA Concert Band Festival in Kearney today! The band performed in the KHS Concert Hall for 2 judges and then received a 20 minute clinic afterwards. Dr. Corey Pompey from the University of Wisconsin-Madison had some great feedback for the band to help them get ready for District Music next month! This was a non scored event.

The boys high school golf meet scheduled for today at Hastings has been POSTPONED. At this point, a make up date has not been scheduled.
The Minden High School Boys Basketball banquet will be held on Monday April 8th, 2024 at Minden Country Club on the upper level. The banquet is scheduled to start at 6:30pm. The coaches ask that each family bring a main dish.

Due to poor road conditions and blowing snow, we will not have school today. Be safe, give yourself plenty of time.
The Kenesaw Track & Field Invite on Tuesday, March 26th will be postponed to Monday, April 22, 2024.
We will have a 10:00 a.m. late start tomorrow, Tuesday, March 26th. There will be no Morning Preschool, and buses will run accordingly. If we call off school, we will get that out as early as possible. Please be careful and drive safely. Winds and snow will pick up this evening.
Sophomores and Juniors: We will test for ACT and pre-ACT on Wednesday, March 27th.
Due to the high probability of snow, ice, and blizzard conditions. Minden Public School will not have school tomorrow. Please be safe and give yourself extra time if you need to travel.
These Whippet Band members spent the day taking part in the Class B All State Band in Grand Island! They auditioned earlier this year and were selected to be in one of two concert bands. The full day of practicing concluded with a phenomenal concert!
