Driver's Ed Class sign-up is now available in the High School Office. The deadline to register is May 10th. The cost is $300 and classes will be held May 24th-27th. Send your student to the office to register or call the school.
National Honor Society is celebrating its 100th Anniversary today! The nationwide organization was extablished in 1921. We are also celebrating the Minden Chapter's 81st anniversary. It was chartered in the 1939-40 school year. Posters have been hung on a wall in the commons with pictures of past and current members along with a list of sponsors throughout the years. Take a look...you might find a sibling, parent, or grandparent!
The speech team did back-to-back meets Friday evening and Saturday. They placed 2nd at Friday's varsity only meet. They earned 2nd in novice and were champions in both the varsity and varsity/novice combined division at the Voice of the Plains meet in Holdrege on Saturday!
It takes a great team to run a sub state game! I have a great team!

JUNIOR PARENTS:
A form giving permission for some aspects of the State ACT Test your child will be taking in March was mailed to you a couple weeks ago. This form is due in the high school counseling office tomorrow. You child was contacted if their form was not turned in. I am attaching the form. Contact jayne.hoban@mindenwhippets.org if you have any questions or to see if your form was received.
There is about 1 month left to get your order in for a 2020-2021 yearbook. You can either order online (see attached poster for details) or by dropping off a check at the high school office or with Ms. Aschoff with a note for who it is for. Yearbooks cost $43 ($50 with namestamp)
