The girls golf state championship photos are up on the wall of champions!!

Whippets beat Gothenburg 3-1 to take 3rd in the SWC tournament! Next up to await the release of host sites and seedings for sub districts which will come out on Thursday.

It's a beautiful fall evening for our Whippets taking on the Swedes. Although we are short handed, the boys are giving it all they have!

A great night for an awesome SWC volleyball game between Minden and Holdrege!!

The 2025 Southwest Conference Volleyball Tournament bracket is now set. The tournament takes place at Cozad High School on Monday October 20th and Tuesday October 21st. The Whippets will play against Cozad in the first round on Monday at 4pm and if they win that match, they will play again at 6pm. Tuesday consists of the consolation and finals matches. GO WHIPPETS!

The girls golf team should arrive back to Minden about 9:30pm. The fire department will give them an escort welcome back to MHS starting at the legion baseball field back to the front of the high school. Everyone is invited to meet the team in the front of MHS to congratulate and welcome the Champs home!!!

Whippet Girls Golfers are the Class C STATE CHAMPIONS!!! Individual champion was Kaylynn, runner up was Macie, and 6th place was Shelby!! The fire department will escort the team back to the front of the high school later tonight. We welcome all Whippet fans to join us to welcome the CHAMPIONS back at the front of MHS. We will put word out about what time the team will return.

The home volleyball games scheduled for Tuesday October 14th will now be JV and Varsity only as Cozad is short on players. JV will start at 6pm followed by varsity. Parents night activities will go on as planned. NO RESERVE VOLLEYBALL TUESDAY.

The JV football game scheduled for Monday October 13th vs Holdrege has been CANCELLED as we do not have enough players to field a JV team this week.

The Trailblazer softball season came to an end today vs York at districts. We fell to York 0-6 in a hard fought game. Way to fight and keep improving all season girls!!

It's a beautiful day for district golf in Grand Island!! The girls are working on securing another team state qualification!!

The JV football game at Adams Central tonight starts at 5pm NOT 6pm. We apologize for the mix up as we were unaware that Adams Central was planning for a 5pm start time.

It was a tough night for the Minden football team as we fell to a good Milford squad. The Whippet varsity team is back in action next Friday against Broken Bow for Homecomig 2025!!
