
It was special to see 5 Whippets representing the Southwest Conference in the senior all star games today at MHS! We are sure going to miss watching these girls on the volleyball court. What a fun day of volleyball!!









East Elementary is hiring!


Minden High School will once again host the New West All Star Classic games for both volleyball and basketball!



We wish Will Runions good luck today at State Golf in Grand Island! Will has started off well today. Keep grinding!!






This is a reminder that summer lunch will continue until the end of July at East Elementary from 11:30 to 1:00. We will have pick-up every Tuesday at East Elementary.

GIRLS SWC CUP CHAMPIONS!!
Congrats to the MHS girls for claiming the Southwest Conference Cup for the second time in the past three years. This award is given to the overall conference champions based on both athletic success and fine arts success at the conference level. This is a testament to all of the efforts of our activity kids, coaches, and sponsors!!

It was a fantastic day at the SWC track and field championship meet in Ogallala! The girls claimed the team the team championship and there were countless outstanding performances and personal bests for our athletes. Job well done to our athletes and coaches!!











Record Alert!!
Congratulations to these girls for breaking not 1, not 2 but 5 records today at the A-Town Showdown in Aurora!
Josa Coemnoczolowski - breaking her own 800m record with a time of 2:34.95
Addelea Jordan - in pole vault breaking a 3 way tie of 7' 6" record set by Kendra Hassler, Cortney White & Lindsay Sitorius with a vault of 7' 9"!
Reagan Carey broke the 400m of 62.58 set in 2002 by Alda Speer with a time of 61.21!
Adelyn Whitten - broke the mile record of 5:47.4 set in 2002 by Alex Bauer with a time of 5:43.89
And last but not least the 4X800 team of Emerson Kuehn, Regan Johnson, Josa Ciemnoczolowsi & Adelyn Whitten broke their ow record by almost 11 seconds!! A time of 10:36.79!

District music here at MHS was a huge success today! This even took ALOT of work to plan and conduct. Thank you to Mr Stubbs for all of his organization as well as to the staff and parents who filled roles to make this event work. Great job to all of the performers today. We have some amazingly talented kids! GO WHIPPETS!!
