Reminder: MPS will have PT conferences on Wednesday, Sept 20th, from 3:00-6:00 and Thursday, Sept 21st, from 3:00-8:00. We will have no school on Friday, Sept 22nd.

MPS along with KCHS will be holding a flu shot clinic for students in grades 4-12 on October 17th Consent forms may be downloaded from the website or are available in each building office. Consent forms will also be available during parent teacher conferences.
A big congrats to Coach Ratka for earning her 100th win as head coach of the Whippet volleyball team! MHS is fortunate to have such a great person leading our volleyball program!
The Trailblazer softball games scheduled for today at McCook have been postponed due to the rainfall received making the McCook field unplayable. A make up date for this contest is TBD.
Minden senior Kade Dorzynski is up for NTV play of the week with his amazing one handed touchdown catch on a great pass from Jake Ryan. This helped the Whippets beat Kearney Catholic 28-14. Vote for Kade using the website linked. Voting ends on Thursday 14th!

The freshmen went to Youth Science Field Day in Holdrege on Wednesday. They got to do lots of hands-on activities in many areas of science.

The MHS play production team has embarked upon their voyage of the 2023 season. They held their read through of the script last evening. Watch the calendar for more information on performances coming up in November!
MPS Activity Update for September 4th through the 10th!
The MHS Media Center is hosting Sora September this month. Sora gives you on-demand access to thousands of books, magazines, audiobooks and e-books from your phone, iPad or Chromebook. Students who come to the media center to sign in will earn a sweet treat!
We were able to pick up a JV Football contest for Tuesday September 5th to replace the St Paul game that was cancelled. Our JV Football team will now travel to Wood River and play a contest involving Wood River and GICC at 6:30pm on 9/5/23. The format will be somewhat unique compared to a traditional game.
The JV home football game scheduled for Tuesday September 5th agains St Paul has been CANCELLED. St Paul does not have enough players to play this game. We are working on lining up some potential replacement games but regardless there will NOT be a home JV football game on Tuesday September 5th in Minden.
