Minden Public Schools is again excited to serve as the host site for the New West Kidney Foundation All Star Volleyball and Basketball games! The schedule for these games is attached. The all start volleyball games will take place on Wednesday June 14th and the basketball games will take place on Thursday June 15th.

The SADD Club, in conjunction with the Nebraska State Patrol, painted seatbelt use reminders on the high school parking lot exits on Monday.
This is a reminder that the last day for students will be tomorrow, Tuesday, May 16th (Regular Dismissal).
A BIG THANK YOU to Joe Lee for all of his hard work welding the aluminum hanging brackets for our district plaque display project. Joe is a junior at MHS and he has developed a talent for working with aluminum. Joe has spent many hours fabricating the brackets and he has done a fantastic job. Just another example of the talented students we have at MHS!
Boys District Golf at York originally scheduled for Monday 15th has been moved to Tuesday 16th due to the weather forecast. The start time and all other details remain the same, but the tournament will now take place on Tuesday May 16th.

The weather started off rough but it turned out to be a great rest of the day at the district track meet!
DISTRICT TRACK/FIELD UPDATE #2: @ Holdrege High School
Field events will now begin at 1:30pm with running events scheduled to start at 3:30pm.
We got our district calendar corrected. Our last day will be a full day for K-12 students on Tuesday, May 16th. This will be a 3:20/3:30 dismissal.
One more day to vote for the Elementary Bond. Please take time to vote. Votes are due to Kearney County Courthouse by Tuesday, May 9th at 5:00 p.m.
Congratulations to the Minden High School girls and boys for winning the Southwest Conference Cup! This is the Champion of Champions for the SWC. The activities that are counted towards the SWC Cup are below:
Girls: cross country, volleyball, golf, basketball, speech, play, quiz bowl, and track/field
Boys: cross country, football, play, wrestling, basketball, speech, quiz bowl, track/field, and golf.
Congratulations to both our girls and boys for an extremely successful SWC year!!
