The Whippets play for a state championship tomorrow against Kearney Catholic at 3pm at the Devaney Sports Center! What an amazing come back win against Gothenburg in the semi finals!! We will be the visiting team for the finals match tomorrow. See the attached photos for the seating chart at Devaney as well as the celebration when moving our school to the finals spot on the official bracket!!! NEVER GIVE UP!!!!

State Volleyball Semi Finals Update: The Whippets will play on the NORTH Court Friday at 3pm! We will also be the HOME team for this match as we are the higher seed. The seating map is attached for everyone's reference. We hope to see all of Whippet Nation down in Lincoln to support our team! Lets make the PBA a sea of purple!!!

A reminder that PK-12 students will not have school tomorrow, November 1st, for state volleyball. Friday's schedule will be determined after the game on Wednesday. We will be looking at a noon dismissal for Friday, November 3rd.

Whippet fans, while hosting extra post season events is a fantastic experience for our players and community, it also brings about challenges to staff all of the needed spots to make these events run. We are short ticket takers for Saturday so if anyone could help take a time slot, WE NEED YOU!

1 Person from 11:45am-1:30pm at downstairs main ticket table
2 People 2:15pm-4:00pm at downstairs main ticket table

VOLLEYBALL DISTRICT FINAL OFFICIAL UPDATE:
The C1-2 District Final will start at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Minden will play Columbus Scotus for a trip to the big dance in Lincoln! Teammates has generously offered to cover admission for all Minden Public School Students to this game. Just have the students check in at one of the gates. We do ask that all students in grades K-6 be accompanied by an adult.
Also, Minden High School is hosting the C1-6 Volleyball District Final at 3:30 PM between Ogallala and Pierce. In order to respect their game, we would ask that Minden fans leave to provide room for the Ogallala and Pierce fans and students at the conclusion of our game and awards ceremony. Once all of the spectators from the other two schools have entered, those of you who want to watch the second game may re-enter and sit where there is room.

The winter sports season is here! Our middle school girls basketball and boys wrestling teams started practice this week! Go Whippets!
It's Red Ribbon Week at Minden High School. Red Ribbon Week highlights the importance of living a drug-free life. Members of the Students Against Destructive Decisions group celebrated by bringing out their inner child to do some chalk art in front of the high school!
Today is the BIG ONE! The Lady Whippet Volleyball team ranked #1 and 32-0 host #2 ranked and 28-2 Kearney Catholic in the C1-10 Sub District Final at 7pm. This may very well be the last opportunity to see our team play at home this season. We hope to see everyone tonight for the premier game in the state!!!
Great night for the Whippet football team on the final regular season game of the season. It was a victory over Cozad 12-7 in a hard fought game. Great effort and way to finish the season with a HUGE win!!
Congratulations to the volleyball team on winning the SWC tournament and persevering in the championship match against a really good Gothenburg team! Our Whippets now sit at 31-0 heading into sub districts at home on Monday evening. SO PROUD!!!
