We start our mornings together in the gym reading a story and doing some sort of greeting. Today our goal was to each introduce ourselves to three new friends not in our grade level. Check out this picture of what it turned into!

The Whippet wrestling team visited East Elementary at lunch time. The wrestlers shared lessons of how to be a hardworking teammate, the importance of listening to teachers, and using your time wisely in school and activities. Thank you for spending time with our young students, and a big CONGRATULATIONS on placing runner-up at the recent state duals competition!

During Hoops for Heart through the American Heart Association, Mr. McCarthy is able to order new items for the gym using certificates.

These second graders were challenged by Mrs. Jameson to complete a 100 marshmallow and 100 toothpick tower challenge on the 100th day of school.
