CLASS of 2026 & PARENTS: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be live for the 26-27 school year by October 1. Girls or Boys in grade 6-8th grade only are welcome to join us for a two day skills camp. This is on September 19th from 9 AM-12PM and September 20th from 1-4PM. The high school cheerleaders will be able to help you with your jumps, cheers, and STUNTS!

One Act Play Production Season Opening Meeting is this Tuesday, August 19 at 7:30 in the auditorium! All high school students are invited to attend to see what play production is all about! Bring your parents along as well as we will spend a little time talking about what play production is!

This morning, MPS was notified of a potential situation in town. The Minden Police Department notified the school, and we went into our "secure" protocol for about 15 minutes today. During the secure protocol, our students and staff are required to remain inside the building. However, business continued as usual until the all-clear was communicated to staff.
Daily, our doors remain locked throughout the school day. As a reminder, our school and local law enforcement agencies are in constant communication as a means to keep our students safe. We appreciate all that MPD does for us, and knowing that our kids and staff are safe.

Before and After School Pick-up: Working with MPD, we have some concerns about the pick-up and drop-off process at CLJ. Attached is a map and directions on what we need parents to do when coming to the school in the mornings and afternoons. We need everyone to be safe. Give yourself some extra time and look out for students coming and going from school.
