As message from SRO Arner:
Gratitude; a feeling of appreciation for what one has or receives. This improves mental health, happiness and optimism as well as strengthens relationships. Practice gratitude by using a journal, saying "thank you" often and reflecting on small daily blessings.
Thankfulness; related to gratitude, but more active. Express thankfulness by using words like "thank you" or "I appreciate this" as well as gestures like notes, small gifts or acts of kindness. Thankfulness builds mutual respect and positive communication.
Respect for Others; valuing others' rights, feelings and differences. Respecting others means listening without interrupting, accepting differences in opinion, culture or background and treating others how you would want to be treated. Respect matters because it fosters trust, minimizes conflict and encourages inclusivity.
Community Support; helping and uplifting those around you. Examples include volunteering time or skills, supporting local businesses and helping neighbors or the vulnerable. Community support builds strength and resiliency, reduces loneliness and isolation, and encourages responsibility.
How these values connect; gratitude and thankfulness lead to greater respect. Respect fosters empathy and compassion. All 3 build a culture of support and cooperation. Combined, they create a more positive and connected community.
Take Action; thank someone genuinely, help someone without expecting anything in return, reflect on what you're grateful for and treat others with kindness and dignity.
