Girls 7th & 8th grade basketball will meet on Wednesday, October 23 (bring a change of clothes as you will do some conditioning); first practice will be Thursday, October 24.


7th & 8th grade wrestling begins after school on Monday, October 21.


Picture retakes are scheduled for Monday, October 21.


WHIPPET FAIR for 6th, 7th & 8th grade students and parents at the HS commons on Monday, October 21 and Tuesday, October 22, 6:00-8:00 PM. This is an opportunity for students to see extracurricular activities available when they are in high school.


The CLJMS Talent Show, sponsored by the Student Council, will be held on Friday, November 8 at 7:00 p.m. Sign up for students interested in participating is available in the library now until October 28. Some examples of acts from the past: playing a musical instrument, singing, juggling, lip sync, dancing, magic act, gymnastics, stand-up comedy, play or any other talent you think may be worth sharing. There are a lot of fun ideas out there! Get creative, and start practicing!


FLU SHOTS will be available on Tuesday, November 5, room 101, beginning at 8:30 am. Nurse Julie will send info to teachers with a schedule. Staff are encouraged to come to 101 as soon as possible that day.



ACTIVITY TICKETS ARE ON SALE AS FOLLOWS: Family $200; Adult $75, Student $30.


Student accident insurance information is available in the office.


Afterschool study hall is available in room 101, 3:30-4:30 on regular days; 2:15-3:00 on early release days.




BoxTops have gone digital! Download the app and scan your receipts to earn money for our school. If you still have BoxTops clippings, you can turn them in at the office or the library. 


CATCH Kids’ Club (CKC) for 4th & 5th grade students will meet from 3:30-5:00 in the CLJMS cafeteria on the following dates: Oct 3, 10, 17, 24, Nov. 7 & 14. Contact Nurse Julie at 308-832-2338 with questions.
