CLJMS TALENT SHOW, 7:00

 

February 24, 2018 – Saturday     

CLJMS @ York Middle School Honor Band

            10:30 Depart from Minden

            1:00 Rehearsals

            4:30 Supper Provided @ York HS

            6:30 Concert

            8:30-9:00  Arrive @ Minden

 

York Honor Band, Saturday, February 24th.

Participants will depart Minden by bus at 10:30 am, rehearsals begin at 1:00 pm. Supper is provided at York High School between 4:30-5:00.  A concert open to the public at the York High School Auditorium begins at 6:30 PM, admission is $3.00 per person. The bus should arrive back in Minden between 8:30 and 9:00 pm.

 

DRIVER EDUCATION signup is in the office. The cost is $300.00 per participant, payable to Minden Public Schools. Deadline for registration is May 8. Classroom is scheduled May 21-24, 8:00-4:00 PM; in addition students will be scheduled for on-street (5 hours driving / 5 hours observation and a final drive test.)  Please contact Mr. Miller or Ann if you have questions.  Participants must have a learner’s permit or school learner’s permit prior to on-street driving.
 

 

CLJMS Talent Show, 7:00 PM, Friday, February 23, Fine Arts Auditorium. Admission is $2.00 Adults, $1.00 Students, Activity tickets will not be accepted.

 

Students who are dropped off in the morning by parents, please use Park Avenue and enter through the East doors of C. L. Jones Middle School.

 

 

Softball/Baseball forms are available in the office.

 

 

BLAST – Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training  -- This program is sponsored by Kearney Co. Health Services for people ages 11 and older. This program is scheduled for  March 10, 2018, cost is $28.00 per participant. Please contact Connie Linder at 308-832-3400 x 2257.

 

 

GIRLS ON THE RUN information is in the office. This program begins on February 20, from 3:45 – 5:00 PM, on Tuesdays & Thursdays, for 10 weeks.  Please contact Mikki Schoone, 308-830-3559 if you have questions.

 

 

INVENTION CONVENTION – March 22 at the Prairie Museum, Holdrege. Please contact Mrs. Lori Rowley @ East Elementary if you have questions. Please send completed forms to the office.

 

Due to danger and thin ice, you are prohibited to walk or play on the ice at the outdoor classroom pond.  Do not allow your pets on the ice either!!

 

Please bring any BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION labels to the CLJMS office.

 

Our school has begun the challenge of helping to find a cure for Blood Cancer!  We are joining over 29,000 schools across the nation to make a difference and raise as much money as we can  with our “Pennies for Patients” event.  Over the next 2 weeks we would like for you to collect donations in the  “Pennies for Patients” banks you received.   Please return your banks to the office by February 23rd.  Each student who returns a bank will have their name placed on our “Wall of Heroes” in the front lobby and be entered in a drawing to win a “Sweet Treat” after our event is completed.  If you need additional banks please stop in the office.
