4th Grade Schedule

December 11--All of 4th Grade rehearse from 10:04-10:43 in vocal room and on the stage

December 12--All of 4th Grade rehearse from 10:04-10:43  in vocal room and on the stage

  1:00-1:50 All grades will perform their concert pieces for each other in the HS Fine Arts Theater.

   Concert begins at 6:00 Students report to classrooms at 5:45

 

 

5th Grade Schedule

December 11--All vocal and band kids rehearse on stage

December 12--All vocal and band kids rehearse on stage

  1:00-1:50 All grades will perform their concert pieces for each other in the HS Fine Arts Theater.

  Concert begins at 6:15 - Band Students in H.S. Choir Room at 5:45 / Vocal only Students in Mrs. Dreher’s room (204) at 6:00

 

 

6th Grade Schedule

December 11--Band and Vocal will practice on stage

December 12--During 6th period the whole program, 4th-8th will sing and play for each other

  1:00-1:50 All grades will perform their concert pieces for each other in the HS Fine Arts Theater.

  Concert begins at 6:45 - Band Students meet at 6:30 in the HS band room with Mr. Jacobs & Mrs. Schoone;  Non-Band Students meet at 6:30 in Mrs. Paulsen’s (202) and/or Mrs. Space’s room (201)

 

 

7th and 8th Grade Schedule

December 11 (Monday) 7th/8th Grade choir and band practice concert transitions

December 12 (Tuesday) 7th/8th Grade choir and band practice concert transitions

  1:00-1:50 CLJMS music students perform concert for each other at 1:00 in HS Fine Arts Theater

  Concert begins at 7:15 - Band Students meet at 7:00 in the HS Band Room / Vocal Only Students meet at 7:00 in the HS Choir Room

 

 

Hoops for Heart -  A HUGE THANK YOU to all who participated in Hoops for Heart. This year the homeroom class who raises the most money for Hoops for Heart will receive a free day in PE complete with a heart healthy snack and a Pizza Hut coupon. At this time a total of $3106.00 has been collected. If you have questions regarding this event please see Mr. Wilson or Nurse Julie.

 

 

Student Council Food Drive - The student council will be conducting a food drive for the Minden Food Pantry from November 30th-December 15th. Students are asked to bring canned food or non-perishable items to their homeroom each week. The student council representatives from each homeroom will bring all the items collected to the back room of the library and tally the number of items collected each week. Tally sheets will need to be returned to Mrs. Yant on the morning of December 18th. The homeroom collecting the most items will receive an ice cream sundae party and the traveling trophy in 2018.

 

 

Please bring any BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION labels to the CLJMS office.

 

 

Students who are dropped off in the morning by parents, please use Park Avenue and enter through the east doors of C. L. Jones Middle School.

 

 

FOUND – Please check in the office if you are missing jewelry or glasses. Several articles of clothing are also on the lost and found.
